Growing a beard is a personal journey. That’s why we’re proud to share two stories with you. The first, that of bearded black belt and actor/host/model Trevor Wayne, whom we met recently for an intriguing Beard Profile at the Ace Hotel in DTLA. And second, the tale of Harnaam Kaur. Kaur was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome when she was 11, a condition that causes her to produce more testosterone than most women and grow facial hair. She talks to Guinness World Records about how she overcame bullying to accept her beard (and earn a Guinness World Record title).
Along that beard-growing journey we also make decisions about how we want our beard to look. The beards at the National Beard and Moustache Championships make us reconsider our options.
Read on for this week’s beard and moustache news!
