Located in the heart of Los Angeles, CA. Baxter Finley Barber and Shop; a simple, classic and friendly barber shop awaits your arrival. This shop was built and designed with their men’s skincare/shaving line Baxter of California in mind. Baxter of California says their approach is "science plus nature, built from the ground up in California. We may be old school in concept, but we’re high-tech in practice." This barbershop is exactly that. We had the privilege to interview the barbershop and learn more about who they are and what they do.

1. Where is Baxter Finley Barber and Shop located? How long have you been around?

Baxter Finley Barber & Shop was created for men who seek traditional, straightforward methods of service. The shop opened in Los Angeles in May 2010 as an homage to Mr. Baxter Finley, the founder of Baxter of California. The shop is located at 515 N. La Cienega Blvd. in Los Angeles, CA. (West Hollywood?)

2. How does one go about getting a cut, trim or restyle from Baxter Finley? Do you accept walk-ins or is this appointment only?

Our offerings are simple and easy to remember:

1) Haircut

2) Shave

3) Combination Haircut and Shave

Each service individually is $45 and the combo is $85.

And it’s no secret to our regular clients, but our barbers provide additional services including trims, beard trims and buzz cuts. These services range in price from $20 to $30.

We are open 11am – 9pm Tues – Sat; from 11am – 7pm on Sundays; and we’re closed on Mondays. Appointments can be booked one week in advance; Friday and Saturday are same day appointments only.

3. What is unique about Baxter Finley Barber & Shop?

Baxter Finley is the only shop for men fully supported by a grooming brand designed for men. We offer classic barber services with modern techniques in a masculine, throwback barbershop.

Here you will find the entire line from Baxter of California and all of our current collaborative projects, including candles. We also dedicated a retail space for brands we appreciate (respect?), like Juniper Ridge, Cuoto, D.S. & Durga, retaW, MCMC and many others.

4. On the online store it looks like you only sell Baxter of California products. Is this true or do you sell other products and why?

We do not sell on line but we do link back to our parent company’s site, Baxter of California, which sells their entire product range. Please see above for more info on our retail offering in the store.
