Using a Shampoo Bar to Wash Your Beard

  1. Wet beard thoroughly.
  2. Run water over bar and rub directly onto hair.
  3. Massage lather from root to tip.
  4. Rinse.

Well, the answer is simple! What your nose is detecting is the natural scents of the essential oils used to formulate these bars. Our goal was to offer a shampoo bar with zero preservatives, stabilizers, or fragrance, which meant thoughtfully selecting coordinating ingredients to keep the scent of each bar familiar to the Zeus family.

Have no fear- the slight differences in scent offerings are harmonious with your other Zeus beard and body products.

How many bottles of shampoo is a shampoo bar comparable to?

One Zeus Shampoo Bar replaces about 2-3 bottles of 8oz shampoo. This number can fluctuate based on beard length, frequency of use, and how you care for your bars.

To make your shampoo bar last as long as possible, remember to store the bar away from direct water when not in use.

Is a Beard Shampoo Bar safe for sensitive or acne prone skin?

Sure is! Each bar features Charcoal, an ingredient loved by those with sensitive skin for its ability to gently, but effectively clarify pores and balance natural oils. If acne or ingrown hairs are a concern, we recommend using the Beard Shampoo Bar with our Tea Tree Beard Oil.

As we mentioned above, there are zero synthetic ingredients in these bars, therefore eliminating many commonly cited skin irritants.
